Special Services

The Randolph Special Services Department provides a full range of specialized program options for students ages 3-21. Program options are determined individually, remaining mindful of the need to educate students within the least restrictive environment. Regular education with supplementary aids and services, in-class support, resource center support and specialized classes are all a part of the full continuum of placement options available within the district. When appropriate, program options outside of the district are considered.

Child Study Team members include: learning consultants, psychologists and social workers. All classes are taught by certified teachers of students with disabilities, with assistance from paraprofessionals as required for individual needs as well as program needs. Related services providers include: speech and language specialists, occupational therapists, a district behaviorist and physical therapists.
