Randolph High School Alumnus Camilo Montoya-Galvez Featured in NJEA Magazine
Randolph High School alumnus Camilo Montoya-Galvez, a CBS immigration reporter, recently returned to meet with ESL and journalism students to thank educators for their support of ESL students. The New Jersey Education Association featured Camilo’s story in this month’s November magazine along with some of our RHS students. The article, “The Benefits of Bilingualism: Paying it Forward” can be found attached on page 15. Yesterday, Camilo returned to RHS for a second time to speak with students. He also had the opportunity to connect with ESL teacher Michelle Land and Spanish teacher Sybil Sanchez-Gonzalez to celebrate this month’s article. Thank you Camilo for your continued support of Randolph High School and our students. We are grateful for your pride in your alma mater.
