Adriana Kolic & Alex Perniciaro Crowned Homecoming Queen and King
Randolph put up a tremendous fight against visiting West Morris Central, but fell short of a victory. The Rams are now 3-1 on the season and will travel to Mount Olive next Friday to take on the Marauders.
Randolph High School celebrated Homecoming during halftime and we are very proud to share this year’s court. Congratulations to Adriana Kolic & Alex Perniciaro who were crowned this year’s Queen and King.
Adriana embodies the phrase “the sky is the limit” with her ambitions to study aerospace engineering when she graduates from Randolph. “I have always been interested in studying aerospace engineering and when I came to the high school, I didn’t know if there would be any opportunity for me to explore that. However, I was surprised to meet a lot of inspirational people who made an impact on me in finding what I could do to pursue this dream.” Adriana is extremely involved at Randolph. She is on the Cheerleading team, she is President of Future Business Leaders of America, Secretary of National English Honor Society, and a Tomorrow’s Leader. When asked what she will miss most at Randolph, she noted her classes as being one of the best opportunities for her as a student. “I have gotten to take many STEM courses which were in line with what I am interested in doing. My teachers have helped me a lot to get through high school and I will miss my computer science classes the most. Learning a computer language is very difficult and the support I received to get through those tough classes was amazing.”
Alex is a thriving athlete on the Varsity Football team and plays a pivotal role in the team’s success. In addition to Football, he is on the Varsity Lacrosse team. He is a dependable team player who is committed to supporting his fellow classmates on and off the field.
Runner Ups for Homecoming Queen were Amanda Houston and Avalina Michel. Amanda is Captain of the Cross Country team, Junior Captain of the Randolph Rescue Squad, and President of the National English Honor Society. She plans to continue her studies in nursing next year. Avalina is also a Captain of the Cross Country team and also plans to study nursing when she graduates from Randolph.
Runner Ups for Homecoming King were Nick Arcaro and John Crane. Nick has been playing baseball for over 10 years and is our catcher for the Varsity Baseball team. He is also a Tomorrow's Leader and a member of National Honor Society. He will study Business Communications next year in college. John is a proud member of the Marching Rams and the Varsity Swim team. He plans to study Biochemistry in college.
Thank you to all of our Homecoming Court candidates and congratulations again Adriana and Alex. A special thank you goes to our Cheerleading team and the Pride of Randolph, your Marching Rams, who gave a stellar fire and ice performance during halftime.
