State Testing Information
The State of New Jersey has ended its membership of the interstate consortium that produced the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) assessments. The state required assessments for grades 3 through 11 are now called New Jersey Student Learning Assessments - ELA (NJSLA-ELA) and New Jersey Student Learning Assessment - Mathematics (NJSLA-M). In addition, students in grades 5,8,and 11 will continue to take the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment-Science (NJSLA-S).
Testing will follow the schedule listed below. Make-up sessions for all assessments will be given at the discretion of available test proctors.
Please ensure that your child sleeps well, eats a nutritious breakfast, and arrives on time for these testing periods. Once testing begins, late students cannot be admitted until the conclusion of testing. Late students will complete the missed tests during make-up sessions.
ELA – April 27, 28
Math - April 29, 30 & May 1
ELA - May 4, 5
Math - May 6, 7 & 8
ELA - May 11, 12
Math - May 13, 14 & 15
Science - May 18 & May 19
