Teacher Recommendation and Parent Waivers

The files below explain the teacher recommendation process at Randolph Middle School. Please note that rubrics are used as a guide to recommend and place students in classes. Recommendations can change as teachers and administrators assess student performance and other data. Parents/guardians with questions about recommendations and student performance are encouraged to contact their child's classroom teacher first.  

Randolph Middle School offers a waiver option for some courses if a parent requests their child be placed in a level other than the level recommended by the education professionals at the middle school. To discuss level placement recommendations and waiver information, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
