    "In high school, I was the state VP of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the student rep to the BOE."

    Mr. Ronald Conti and his wife, Rina, have lived in Randolph since 2008 and have two children, one who attends Ironia Elementary School and another who attends Randolph High School. Mr. Conti was re-elected as Board President at the January 2019 reorganization meeting.

    Mr. Conti received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 1993. While enrolled in the 5-year co-op program, Mr. Conti worked developing defense technology. Upon graduating, Mr. Conti worked on Wall Street building risk management applications and subsequently launched and sold a series of successful high tech start-ups.  Since then, Mr. Conti has been a strategic technology consultant to several businesses all over the world.  

    He has experience in application, internet and mobile development in addition to networking and system automation.

    "My favorite subject in school was science, especially physics."

    Mr. Joe Faranetta was appointed to the Board of Education in 2016 and began his first full three-year term in January 2018.  He was re-elected Board Vice President at the January 2019 reorganization meeting. He and his wife, Donna, have lived in Randolph for more than 25 years and have two children - both of whom are proud Randolph High School graduates.

    Mr. Faranetta graduated from Rutgers University in 1988 with a BA in Business Administration. After graduation, he began his career with AT&T and has been there his entire professional career of more than 25 years.  He has held various positions in the company and is currently a Director in AT&T's Business Services organization.

    Mr. Faranetta was Chairman of the Randolph Recreation Girls Lacrosse Program for 10 years, and is currently a coach for Little Styx. He is also a sitting member of the Randolph Recreation Advisory Committee.

    Prior to his involvement with the Board of Education and current committees, he was a founding and 3-year member of the Ram Athletic Council (RAC), coach of multiple recreation and travel sports for both boys and girls, and a member of several High School booster clubs.

    "I leaned towards the sciences in high school and college and did my independent study work in neuroscience." 

    Mrs. Tammy MacKay was elected to the Board of Education in 2009.  She and her husband, Scott, have lived in Randolph for close to 25 years and have three children who are Randolph High School graduates.

    Mrs. MacKay graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1984 with a BA in Biology.  After graduation, she spent 10 years in account management with a large advertising agency in New York City where she managed national ad campaigns in the toy and packaged goods industries.  After a break from the work force while her children were younger, she resumed her career as a Marketing Manager for an IT consulting firm.  She currently serves as a Marketing Director for a performance improvement consulting firm. 

    Prior to being elected to the School Board, Mrs. MacKay was actively involved with the Shongum Elementary School PTA serving on its Executive Board for many years and as its President for two terms.  She served on the PTA Leadership Committee and the PTA Council, both of which have representatives from each school in the District and interact with district administration, curriculum supervisors, and school staff.  She has been an active volunteer in the town’s basketball, soccer, and football programs and in the girls high school soccer, field hockey and basketball booster clubs, as well as the town lacrosse program.

    "Participating in the performing arts as a student at Randolph helped steered me towards becoming a music educator." 

    Mrs. Susan DeVito, a graduate of Randolph High School, was sworn into office in January of 2017 for a three-year term.

    Following RHS, Mrs. DeVito attended Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where she graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Mrs. DeVito came back to Randolph in 2008 when she was hired by the school district as a music teacher, giving her the opportunity to teach at her alma mater. She and her husband bought their home in Randolph in 2009.

    Furthering her formal education, Mrs. DeVito received a master's degree in Educational Technology with a Supervisor's Certificate in May of 2017.

    Following her teaching career, Mrs. DeVito worked as an educational technology coordinator and supervisor of technology integration in private and public education settings. Mrs. DeVito is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and a Microsoft Innovative Educator and has presented at New Jersey Educational Computing Cooperative’s (NJECC) statewide educational technology conference in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

    Currently, Mrs. DeVito is a stay at home mom and focuses her time on caring for her family and volunteering within the community. In addition to her role on the Board of Education, Mrs. DeVito recently started volunteering for the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter where she fosters kittens while they await adoption by forever families.

    Wanting to start a family, Mrs. DeVito and her husband became licensed foster parents and opened their house to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency in 2015. They became an official family of three when they adopted their daughter in August of 2016.

    "I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling to distant places and taking lots of pictures." 

    Robert A. Soni, Ph.D. joined the Board of Education in September 2018. He was appointed to the Board in July 2018. Dr. Soni has been a Randolph resident since 2006 and in Morris County since 1998. He and his wife Rachita have three children (one at Randolph Middle School and two at Randolph High School). 

    Dr. Soni brings his technology background and significant operational as well as academic experience to the Board. He has managed very large global advanced technology, architecture, and systems engineering teams at Nokia and Nokia-Bell Labs. Dr. Soni has also served in an adjunct professor role in the Electrical Engineering Departments at Columbia University and NJIT. He has a significant number of external publications and patents and has received numerous recognitions, including the prestigious Bell Labs Fellow award from Nokia-Bell Labs. Dr. Soni earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati [‘92] and master’s degree [‘95] and Ph.D. [‘98] in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

    Dr. Soni has been a Robotics/LEGO League coach, as well as a committed Sunday school teacher [10+ years]. He has been a volunteer photographer for Randolph recreation league track and cross-country teams. He supports several nonprofit efforts including domestic violence prevention, Autism awareness, and human and civil rights advocacy. Dr. Soni is serving a Board term that ends in 2021.

    "I enjoy hiking in the various public parks and trails in Morris County." 

    Allison Manfred was elected to the Board of Education in November 2018.  She and her husband have lived in Randolph since 2010 and have two children who attend Center Grove Elementary School.

    Mrs. Manfred grew up in Mendham Township. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in 2005. After graduation, she worked as a marketing associate at CitiStreet in Somerset, NJ. When her children attended Mendham Cooperative Nursery School in Mendham Borough, she served on the school’s Board of Directors for five years, first as the Publicity and Communications Chair, then as the Advisor to the Board. As her children entered Center Grove Elementary, she became an active PTO volunteer, chairing and co-chairing several events and activities. She served as the programs chair on the PTO Executive Board, then as co-president of the organization. She currently is an involved PTO volunteer.

    “In high school, I was Editor in Chief of the yearbook, played soccer, was active in student council and was part of several theater productions.” 

    Ms. Jeanne Stifelman has lived in Randolph for more than 14 years with her husband, David, and their three children. Two out of three children have graduated and are attending college and the third is a student at Randolph High School.

    Ms. Stifelman received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1988. Since she has primarily worked in Marketing and Sales in the Toy Industry for Fisher-Price, Huffy and as a consultant. Recently she founded a toy product design firm with her brother which launched a family business.

    Ms. Stifelman has been an active volunteer in the Randolph School District over the years serving in various capacities including everything from class mom to President of the Randolph High School Choir and Theater Booster Club and RHS PTO President.
