To Report Absence:

  • Call 361-2400 as soon as possible before 9:00 a.m.
  • Failure of the parent/guardian to call will result in a call home
  • Professional notes are required to excuse tardiness/absences and should be submitted to the Attendance Office within a week of the student's return to school

Early Dismissal:

  • Students leaving early for the day must sign out at the Attendance Office when leaving
  • Students must also sign in upon returning to school
  • These dismissals are only approved when a parent's permission note (stating the reason for dismissal) is submitted to the Attendance Office

Forgotten Items From Home:
Lunches and other items that parents bring to school for delivery to students must be brought to the Main Office. An announcement will be made between periods so that the student may pick up the item in the Main Office between classes.

Lost and Found:
Found items are held in the Main Office. Students who have lost items should check during their lunch, study or free period time only. Items will be cleared out every two weeks. Valuable items (jewelry, calculators, wallets, etc.) will be kept in the Vice Principal's Office.

Forms are available in the Attendance Office. If a student is 18 years old and would like to vote in the next scheduled election, a voter registration form should be completed one month before a scheduled election.

Selective Service:
U.S. law requires that all qualified males, 18 years or older, must be registered for selective service. Men who register with Selective Service remain eligible for important programs and benefits linked to registration, including student loans and grants for college, employment by the federal government and many state programs, vocational job training, and U.S. citizenship. Forms may be obtained in the Attendance Office.
