Ram Alerts Randolph Township Schools continue to encourage parents, guardians and members of the school community to sign up for Ram Alerts. This program is an integral part of our communications plan and is an easy way for you to stay informed. Ram Alerts are multi-purpose messages that can be tailored to your needs. They provide you with: To sign-up for Ram Alerts, or to update your subscriber information, please visit the following link: http://my.textcaster.com/ServePopup.aspx?id=300. Please note: for students and families who have left Randolph schools because of high school graduation or other endeavors, the same link can be accessed to cancel Ram Alert accounts. With Ram Alerts, community members can receive school- or district-level news, or important information about school closings and other emergency information. To receive text messages to your cell phone, enter your name, time zone, cell number, and the name of your cell phone carrier. If you’d also like to receive Ram Alert e-mails, enter your e-mail address too. The system requests your zip code as well. Finally, check off the “message groups” you’d like to subscribe to; this lets the system know what kinds of messages and information you’d like receive. After you click “Continue,” the system will immediately send a five-digit authorization code to your cell phone (if you don’t provide an e-mail address) or to your e-mail address if you do. Within five minutes, you must enter that authorization code in the space provided in the system to activate your sign-up. If you try to do this later than five minutes after you receive it, the code won’t work and you’ll need to start over.
